BenchMesh online

Roadmap

The desktop app works entirely offline and always will. The website adds what needs other people: confirmations, reports and sharing.

  1. Live

    Instrument database & community status

Every supported instrument with its verification status. The app reads the community status at start and shows it under Instruments → Supported.

  2. Next

    BenchMesh accounts

Sign in with GitHub, Google, GitLab, Microsoft or Discord. No passwords to remember.

  3. Next

Link the app with your account

Press Authenticate in the app; your browser opens, you sign in, and the app is linked. Unlink any time from your account.

  4. Planned

    Report from the app

One click from an instrument panel: “works” or “issues”, pre-filled with the model, identify reply, connection, app version and - if you choose - the console log as evidence. Reports turn awaiting models into community-confirmed ones.

  5. Planned

    Improvement requests

Ask for a missing control, a new instrument or a fix, and follow it to the release that ships it.

  6. Planned

    Live instrument readings, shared publicly

Choose an instrument on your bench and share its readings live: viewers see the same LCD / LED panels as in the app, read-only, from a link you can revoke. Powered by PushFlo.
